Biography

Dr. Haitham Akkary, co-founder and CTO. Prior to Silicon45, Haitham was the co-founder and CTO of
the cybersecurity startup Acceptto Corporation (acquired in 2021). He is a highly experienced computer
architect with a combined industry and academic career spanning more than 30 years. During this time, he contributed to the microarchitecture and design of seven generations of Intel microprocessors and co-authored more than 50 papers on computer architecture.
As a professor of computer engineering at the AUB, Dr. Akkary supervised numerous graduate students
on research projects in computer architecture and distributed computing platforms for large-scale data
processing. He has received five IEEE/ACM Best Paper Awards and holds more than 80 U.S. patents.
