Pablo Pérez

Pedro Pablo Pérez is the Managing Director (Director General) at TRC, leading the company’s corporate strategy, executive operations, and market positioning across defense, national security, critical infrastructure, telecommunications, and advanced cybersecurity. A seasoned executive with more than 25 years of technology leadership and two decades dedicated to cybersecurity, Pedro specializes in translating complex technological innovation into scalable, high-growth enterprise businesses, with a strong focus on proprietary technology, applied Artificial Intelligence, and digital sovereignty.

Prior to TRC, Pedro built and scaled the global cybersecurity business at Telefónica, serving as Global Vice President of Security for Telefónica and Chief Executive Officer of ElevenPaths (later integrated into Telefónica Tech). Under his executive tenure, Telefónica transformed into a global benchmark cybersecurity firm generating hundreds of millions of euros in annual revenue. He spearheaded the design, launch, and operational deployment of global Security Operations Centers (SOCs) across Europe, Latin America, and the United States, orchestrating multinational go-to-market strategies, managed security services (MSSP), threat intelligence platforms, and top-tier strategic technology alliances.

Earlier in his career, Pedro served as a cybersecurity expert at Hewlett-Packard, building upon his foundational engineering background in industrial automation, security, robotics, and SCADA systems. 

A pioneer in open-source cyber intelligence and startup investor, he later co-created data-processing initiatives. Pedro holds a degree in Computer Science & Engineering, an Executive Global MBA from IESE Business School, and premier industry credentials including CISA, CISM, ITIL Service Manager, and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor. He is also the author of Seguridad para empresas y particulares (McGraw-Hill, 2005) and regularly advises on the strategic convergence of AI, national defense, and sovereign technology capabilities
